Is creating an AI saas too late/oversatured?

NPSALLEN20 points

Consider that product hunt gets 300 to 1100 new saas per day

If you've got something that solves a real, specific problem and you can actually get it in front of people who need it, saturation doesn't matter. Most of those 1100 launches are dead within a month anyway.

People are copying software it’s so easy with ai but most have no idea how to make sales - on board or run a company

And most of them are solving the exact same three problems tbh.

Yep - and VC funding has dried up cos investors have realized this

  • Nothing left behind. Collapsed branches and "load more" are opened for you, so the quiet replies get read too.
  • Only the columns you need. Author, time, score, thread level, reply, comment and link. Turn any off; Threadpull remembers.
  • Your format. CSV for spreadsheets, JSON for tools, plain text for docs.

Three steps. About a minute for a big thread.

01

Open a thread, video or company

Any Reddit thread, YouTube video, Hacker News thread or company's Trustpilot reviews. Threadpull spots it and the side panel says it's ready to pull.

02

Press Pull

It works inside your open tab at a normal pace, opening every collapsed branch. Keep browsing while it runs.

03

Take it anywhere

Download CSV or JSON, copy plain text, see the top phrases, or send it to your AI with a research prompt.

See the pattern before you read a word.

The words people repeat, counted across the whole thread. Pick one and read only the comments that use it.

Counts: comments in the r/SaaS thread that use each word.

From thread to brief in one step.

Send to AI opens ChatGPT or Claude and fills the message box with the comments and a research prompt. Threadpull never presses send. You do.

    Questions, answered

More in Help, or email hello@promptvault.shop.

    Is it free?

Yes. Without an account you get 20 comments or reviews per pull, and 150 on your first. Sign in with a free account and you get every comment, Hacker News, Reddit profiles and a History of your pulls.

Does it work on Hacker News?

Yes, with a free account. Open any Hacker News thread and the side panel offers to pull it, with the same exports and Send to AI.

    Does it work on YouTube?

Yes. Open any video or Short and the side panel offers to pull its comments and replies. Chrome asks for access to youtube.com the first time.

    Does it work on Trustpilot?

Yes. Open a company's reviews and the side panel offers to pull them with the company's replies, in the filters you chose on Trustpilot. A link to one review works too: it pulls that company's reviews. Chrome asks for access to trustpilot.com the first time.

Does it need my Reddit login?

No. It works in the tab you already have open. You never hand over a password or a cookie.

    Which browsers?

    Chrome and Microsoft Edge.

    Where do my exports go?

CSV and JSON files go to your Downloads folder; text is copied to your clipboard. We never keep a copy.

    Do I need an account?

No, you can pull without one. A free account lifts the 20-comment limit, adds Hacker News and Reddit profiles, and keeps a History of your pulls.

    Every comment. One pull.
